Brewster Thackeray bought his first Alfa, a 1988 Spider Graduate, in 1996. After editing the Capital Chapter’s Alfantics newsletter, he was elected to AROC’s national board in 2005. He served two terms as president and was on the host committee of the 2010 Convention in Frederick, MD. Having owned many Alfas, from a 1961 Giulietta Spider to a 1991 164S, Brewster enjoys national conventions, concours judging, and contributing to the Alfa Owner. A graduate of Hamilton College and American University, Brewster has worked in the nonprofit, government, and automotive sectors. He parks his 1988 and 1991 Spiders in Alexandria, Virginia.
