This 1967 Alfa Romeo 2600 Sprint is a rare Bertone-bodied grand touring coupe powered by Alfa Romeo’s celebrated 2.6-liter twin-cam inline-six and a five-speed manual transmission. Finished in an older Rosso Alfa repaint over a recently refreshed interior, the car was inherited by its current owner, Diane, following the passing of her father in 2022.

Recent mechanical work addressed excessive piston wear and cracks discovered in the aluminum cylinder head. A complete set of new pistons was sourced from Europe, while the original head was entrusted to Jordan Brown of Singularity Design, formerly the lead metal engineer at Kindig-It Design. Following the engine work, the 2600 now starts readily and runs exceptionally well.

Older restoration, very nice and correct, with Certificate of Origin. Runs and looks great.

Car was purchased from a 60 year Alfa restorer who appraised it as a numbers matching car in excellent condition due to the fit of the body parts and lack of rust. He disassembled it to body on frame, stripped and applied sealer, replaced rocker panels and floor boards, and rebuilt the transmission. He became ill before he could finish it. Car needs bumpers, windshield, interior, and canvas for the top frame. Engine bottom end has been rebuilt. I bought this from the original owner in 1998. I have used it for occasional transport since then. Runs well. Replacements: fuel pump, relined gas tank, fuel lines, driveshaft guibos, TA, filters, brakes. Some rust in the usual places: inner fenders, lower front fenders, tail lights, a bit on lower doors. Partial repair on inner fenders. I have replacement body panels for lower front fenders. Includes parts car, same year, same color, many spares including two transaxles, original exhaust manifold and pipes, Ronal 14" phone dial wheels w/original Pirellis, rear spoiler, lots more. I'm hoping to find someone who will be interested in restoring it.
