This Duetto has had an extensive professional restoration, finished one year ago. Driven 520 miles since. The engine has been completely rebuilt as has the transmission. Suspension has new Konis and springs. Perelli Cintaros are mounted on original rims. The body has been hand sanded and painted the original color. The engine compartment and trunk have been completely detailed. All trim polished and/or replaced with N.O.S. The interior is completely new and reupholstered as is the convertible top. A complete file of all receipts will go with the car as well. There are many other upgrades but cannot list all of them here. Every effort was made to keep this Alfa as original as possible. It has a great sound and is a joy to drive.

Carabinieri tribute car, modified to look loke a 60's era "Carabinieri" Italian police car by changing the front grillwork and earlier style bumpers. It is an original European spec car with original 1300 running engine, 2 Solex carbs, 5 speed transmission, Italian gauges. New water pump and belts. Smooth running and handling.

A complete restoration was done. All rust was cut out and new metal welded in. All stainless steel was polished. A new windshield was installed with new rubber throughout. New foam and new vinyl was done front and rear for the interior as well as a new headliner and carpet. Undercarriage has new Konis, stock springs, and everything else was sand blasted and powder coated. New pistons, rings, bearings, 105.48 cams, new valves, valve seats, and new water pump were installed. The fuel injection system was redone by Ingram. The transmission was rebuilt. The air conditioning is by Vintage Air with an extra cooling fan. Speedometer was rebuilt, others are original. Currently there are 1180 miles on the restoration. Everything is done.

Beautifully neutral steering and drift; flat cornering.
Many upgrades, completely streetable: SPICA pump Wes Ingram, middle aggressive. Mid cam-lift improvement with ead ports smoothed by Ralph Ghent. Euro exhaust headers. Great pulling torque from lower revs.
F: Torsion bars from GTV6, larger (Shankle?) anti roll bar, reinforced mount, new bushings. Koni shocks all around, lowered about one inch.
R: Shankle springs.
Not running. Window sill and wheel arch rust. Head intact but off engine, all running parts included. Needs piston rings, was burning about 1 qt. oil per 700 miles. Low oil pressure, probably due to crankshaft oil passage 'pin plugs' (a well-known Alfa 2 Liter problem). Needs some exhaust work and new engine mounts.
