Since 1996, AROC Director Gordy Hyde has been active in the club, including serving the Northwest chapter in elected and volunteer positions and chairing the 2005 National Convention, Alfa Potlatch, in Seattle. First elected to AROC Board in 2009, he served as Secretary for three years before taking a hiatus to assist with Sempreverde2018, the National Convention in Olympia, WA. Before being elected again to the board in 2020, he moved to the Coachella Valley of California and was instrumental in forming the newest AROC chapter, DesertALFAs. His garage presently contains a Stelvio, a 4C, and a recent import from Italy, a 1967 Giulia Super.
