My love of Alfa Romeos began in 1980 when I purchased my ‘69 GTV and joined AROC. I still drive my GTV and have added a ‘76 Alfetta GT, a ‘76 Spider, and a 2017 Guilia TI. I am a charter member and Secretary of AROC St. Louis and write a monthly column for our newsletter, i Saluti. I also organize dinners, drives, rallies, and anything else I can do to benefit the Club.
I am a Verde Family member of AROC and have attended many national conventions and regional events. Although we do not time trial or autocross, we do participate in concours and rally. I have been part of the rally scene both local and national (SCCA) as a co-driver, worker, and rallymaster since 1978. I am active in Performance Rallies as Green Light, timing controls, and radio communications as an Amateur Radio Operator (KD0EIK).
I like to represent the interests of Alfa enthusiasts who enjoy those rallies. I am proposing design and safety guidelines to improve the rally experience for the participants.
I enjoy driving and working on our older Alfas and I have not gotten a speeding ticket since 2005, but not for lack of trying.
